Product Overview
- Sterile, single-use, pre-filled glass syringe (4.0 mL)
- Cross-linked hyaluronic acid with ancillary triamcinolone hexacetonide
- Contents sterile; tray non-sterile
Indication
- Viscoelastic supplement or replacement for synovial fluid
- Indicated for human knee joints to relieve symptoms of osteoarthritis
Preparation
- Confirm appropriate patient and indication
- Inspect packaging and expiry prior to use
- Maintain facility approved aseptic technique
- Do not reuse syringe
Needle Selection
- Sterile, disposable hypodermic needle
- Recommended size: 18 – 21 gauge
- Final needle choice at healthcare professional discretion
Administration
- Attach sterile needle to syringe using aseptic technique
- Ensure accurate placement in the joint synovial space
- Inject the full syringe contents into the selected joint space
- Do not overfill the synovial cavity
- If pain increases during injection, stop and withdraw the needle
After Injection
- Follow institutional protocols
- Advise appropriate post-injection care per clinical judgement
- If serious reactions or acute infections occur, discontinue treatment and manage appropriately

- Not for intravenous, intraocular, epidural, or intrathecal use
- Do not inject into or near active joint infection
